DYNAMIC DEEP WAVES FOR THE BACK
The patented StimaWELL® system was specially developed for the treatment of back pain. Back problems are a major issue in most developed countries: almost 80% of adults suffer from back pain at least once in their lives. Even athletes and people who keep fit can be affected by the “widespread disease back pain”.
The StimaWELL® system operates with medium frequency pulses which are transmitted to the back via a 12-channel stimulation mat (24 electrodes). The mat is ergonomically shaped and can be heated up to 40 °C. Depending on the main focus of the treatment, you can either target the entire back or parts of it like the cervical, thoracic or lumbar spine.
“4 IN 1” CONCEPT AGAINST BACK PAIN
The StimaWELL® system combines 4 tried-and-tested therapy components:
- Pain management (TENS impulses)
- Muscle stimulation (EMS impulses)
- Dynamic deep massages
- Thermotherapy
The dynamic deep waves are perceived by users as a tapping, kneading or stroking massage. This way intensive muscle stimulation is combined with a pleasant massage.
AUTOMATIC MODE FOR EASIER BACK TREATMENT
In the mode “Automatic program selection according to indications”, the StimaWELL® system selects a therapy program tailored to the user’s problems. All you have to do is to enter anamnesis data such as strength, localisation and progression of pain or condition of the muscles and the desired therapeutic focus. The selected therapy program is updated for each new session.
In the mode “Manual program selection”, you can select specific programs for pain management, muscle stimulation or dynamic deep massage. It is further very easy to create your own user programs.
PERFECT CUSTOMIZATION
The StimaWELL® system simplifies customization down to the smallest detail if you wish. In addition to setting the mat size, you can also perform a calibration. Calibration means that each channel is adjusted in order to make the stimulation feels equally intense everywhere. This way the application is perfectly adapted to your back.
SIMPLE OPERATION
The StimaWELL® system is controlled simply and intuitively via a well-arranged touch screen. On request, you will be guided through the individual steps with short assistance messages. During the therapy session, the user can control the intensity of the impulses either via the touch screen or via the remote control.
EVALUATION THANKS TO DATABASE AND THERAPY RECORDS
If you are using the mode “Automatic program selection according to indications”, you can evaluate each therapy cycles in detail. You can further evaluate the entire database according to different filters. This allows you to keep track of the course and of the efficiency of the therapy for each users.
